There are many reasons for the delay and language disorder. Autism, cerebral palsy, hearing loss / deafness, mental retardation, to name a few. The child has the right to speak, from birth until the age of 21 years through the public school system. His parents need to find the IEP with Educational Service Unit (ESU).

Visit the website of the Stuttering Foundation of America, as you say, how you respond to someone who stutters, which may also contribute to the speech problems. Helping parents talk to them, too. His books and DVDs are available in many public libraries.

Speech disorders in children are caused by different things.
Probably the most common cause of deafness and ear infections. If a child does not hear all the sounds of language, I will not say all the sounds. Children with hearing problems can be vowels or exit talk about the end of words.

Sometimes children's difficulties have noise, they do not know how you are moving the tongue and lips, or muscles of the tongue and lips, low. Sometimes language difficulties is hereditary. Brain damage due to illness or accident can cause problems with the language. Physical abnormalities, such as brakes and paddle-key can interfere with language development.

After a hearing test and evaluation by a speech language pathologist, you can help us by speaking clearly and pronouncing each sound in words. Instead of correcting a child can be the right language model in response to a child with the correct pronunciation / usage. For example, if the child said: "Tut bum is full." One can say: "Yes, the truck full.
Or if you say: "I gived my cookie." One could say: "It's nice of you. You have given your cookies.

When a child stutters, wait until they finished. Do not try to fix the stuttering. If you do not ask, they get to try to say otherwise or, in other words. Singing, chanting and rhythms can be useful to stutter, too.

Finally, some notes are more and take longer to develop. R & L are usually more difficult than are mixtures such as St, BR, BL, TR, and ND.

To make sure your child's hearing and stated that the child evaluated by a speech therapist at school.

Check with your local school board and with a CHLD selected for language. You can help or point you in the right direction.

its very charming, that this child has touched the heart. There must be a hearing be easily verified. There are also other factors such as developmental delays .... which should be evaluated and trained, in order not to be late for school.

Sometimes parents think they are funny, if a parent or the child says a few parents, words, and hope that she knows that it is formed by the parents of another time, I think it "cute is when a Children begin to say a few words with a spot or try the behavior by saying the word slowly, so when can the children from May stuttering "The child may have a hearing or under correct muscles of the tongue is not enough stretch - there are practice exercises if the muscle is not tight enough.

All you can do is work with him. When we speak, and said a word (s) to resolve bad in the right way to say it too.

If it breaks in a sentence like: "I want the cat to see" ... Make sure to pronounce the word (s) / phrase in the right way to Him.

I have a child in speech therapy and sometimes frustrating for both. However, just be patient and work with him.

My son is 5 and was born with a rare brain disease that affects his speech and other things with him. It is very difficult to understand, and it's frustrating for him and me. goes-Special Education Pre-K and have worked with him have taught him sign language, is a good way for him to understand and be able to make his point. Use of signs to say, but the words, so that work continues on his speech. sees a speech therapist as well and are very good. has a long way in 2 years he was coming with them.

There are many different reasons. Some may due to maternal alcohol or drugs, some of which had been caused by defects in the pipes (my stepdaughter), this issue, and if not discovered until 3 years ago, many linguistic problems are permanent. My stepdaughter's hearing problem was not arrested until he 5 years and she still has balance, speech and comprehension problems because of it. Sometimes there is no known cause.
